Community outbreaks refer to the rapid spread of infectious diseases within a specific population or geographical area. These outbreaks can arise from various sources, such as contaminated food, water, or close contact between individuals.

You can view the latest outbreak information for the Health Unit’s area below. This list is updated regularly so you have the most current details.

Updates occur when:

  • A new outbreak starts

  • The cause of the outbreak is identified

  • An outbreak ends

Outbreaks will remain listed for seven (7) days after they are declared over to keep the public informed.
